Having spent a day in meditation and healing, 😎Bori wakes up and goes to check on the team. He emerges in the aftermath of the battle, and helps with cleanup.
In the denouement, Hain orders Leelan to take 🍀Lola below decks, presumably into captivity. Hain says that questioning is in order if she attracts this much attention to the 🚢Ekl'alian.
🐰Faefina objects, and threatens the wrath of the druids. Hain relents but has Leelan guard Lola around the clock. Under her breath, Faefina wishes he'd try. Leelan hears this and raises an eyebrow, but let's it go.
The party follow them downstairs. Harald and Gronk hear a knock on the door. Huluna, a passenger from the great nation of Albany is checking in on the passengers in her capacity as an analyst. When invited in, she turns out to be a Fire Genasi. She is hoping to find work for a governor.
Upon hearing of Harald's trouble, she offers to assist him.

Faefina also gets a knock on her door, from Neka. Neka tells her that she will be questioning her, and requests Faefina's assistance. Neka fills Faefina in on the history of Hain, and Faefina reiterates her concern that the druids would react poorly to interrogation.
On walking out, they walk past Huluna, who looks at them and mentions 'Codependency' as she walks past.
Leelan is guarding Lola's room, at a whisper from Neka he leaves. Neka mentions that he's not really on guard for her, so much as to protect her.

Bori feels a tap on his shoulder - Greg, the other Goliath on the ship, wants to chat and get to know him. Greg takes Bori to his room. While saying Hain can't know about it, he pulls out some Mountain Ale, and pours them a glass each. He asks Bori about himself.
Bori says Greg is the first Goliath he's met since his clan abandoned him. They discuss slavery, and Bori's origin, and the possibility of new nations of Goliaths in the New World.

Neka gives 🍀Lola a plate of food. Faefina sprinkles some spices over the food to flavour it and remove poison. Neka sees this but ignores it. Lola tells Neka about how her elder had died, and she was summoned to the 🌳Druid Enclave. Neka points out that someone does not want her to attend. Neka asks what the need might be for that book, as the crew's failure to deliver it would be calamitous.
As Faefina leaves, she sees Greg and Bori. Neka says that Greg will look after Lola, and her and Faefina take Bori and seek out Harald and Gronk.
Up on deck, Leelan is prepared with a wooden polearm. He starts instructing them on using strategy in battle. Faefina refuses, so the party turns in instead.
While sleeping, Bori feels himself waking, and sees Faefina turn over, and in a different voice, he hears her say 'Hello again. Why haven't you used your anger yet?'. He realises it's the same voice he's heard before. He attacks the voice and misses. 'We're not the bad guys', the voice says. Bori threatens to shove his fist up the voice's ass and down the voice's throat, and shake hands. The voice leaves.
Harald is roused from his sleep by a feeling telling him to open the door. He sees Geff walking past, and invites Harald to join him. While walking, Geff says that he believes in justice - no longer in a strict application of the law, as laws so seldom apply, especially in the New World. An adherence to the spirit of the law is more important. He tells Harald that when he reaches the New World, he must find the Longest Lived One. On enquiry, he seems to show Harald a vision of a huge tree. Geff tells him that he must ensure Yola makes it to the Longest Lived One.
Then he points to a dragon flying towards the ship, and in an excited tone says 'He's back'. Harald wakes up in his bed.
Harald goes to speak to Lola. He asks what she knows about the Longest Lived One, she's heard of it but nothing more. He tells her what he saw, and enjoys a sweetcake.
The 🚢Ekl'alian docks at an island called Meridia.
Faefina votes to disembark, Kineeta requests they stay. Faefina demands gold and respect, Kineeta agrees to pay 10Gp a week and gives the same again to Faefina.
Some passengers decide to disembark given the difficult trip, but some locals choose to voyage, including Mrs. Bobbit, a bubbly woman in a straw hat. Has a bag that clings of glass.
Gronk notices that while boarding, she stops, looks down, and says 'Hm' at the point where she'd be above Lola's room.
Exploring the town, the townspeople insist they visit the lake, but caution against falling in. They admire Faefina as a Harengon. Faefina buys some poison bolts.
Neka tells Faefina that every year, each of the three villages must send a sacrifice to the lake or they'll be salty about it.
Looking into the lake, Harald realises that he doesn't see any fish swimming. He then realises he's not seeing any birds or animals.
Gronk, seeing the lake and not seeing Harald, cannonballs in. As Harald watches Gronk jumping around, he sees the splashes and ripples seem a little larger than him, and seem to be rippling in the wrong direction. Harald calls for him to jump out, and Faefina arrives just in time to see Gronk's 'relieved' expression before he disappears from view.
Bori, right behind Faefina, follows his instincts and throws her into the lake. As Faefina flies towards the water, she sees two humanoid shapes, composed of water, growing icy armour and holding icy swords.
Midair, Faefina commands the closest elemental to flee. It does.
The second attacks Gronk, hitting for 8 force damage as it stabs at him.
Faefine casts Healing Word on Gronk, healing him for 19
She then casts Spiritual Weapon, attacks and misses, then climbs onto Gronk's shoulders.
Bori leaps into the water next to Faefina. He picks her up and puts her on his shoulder, then attacks with a flurry of blows. He hits once, for 8dmg.
Gronk casts Shatter, hitting both for 13 and removing their armour.
Harald jumps forward to attack with his polearm, hitting one for 12 damage.
The first elemental turns around and hits Gronk twice, though Harald is able to use a reaction to hit it for 12 damage. The mouth screams silently, and Gronk escapes the blows.
The second elemental swings at Harald three times, missing each time.
Faefina casts sacred flame, hitting the first elemental for 7 damage. The spiritual weapon hits it again for a further 13.
Bori hits the first one once, for 9 damage.
Gronk casts Burning Hands, hitting the first elemental for 9 damage.
Harald hits the second elemental for 13 damage, but cannot knock it over.
The first elemental attacks Gronk, but Harald is able to intervene for 13 damage.
The second elemental attacks Harald, dealing 8 force and 5 cold damage, slowing his speed.
The party hears chanting in primordial behind them. Harald sees a woman sheathed in water, chanting at them.
Faefina casts Bless on Gronk, Bori, and Harald.
She then attacks with Spiritual Weapon, hitting the first elemental for 12 damage.
Harald realises that they are water elementals, and the fact that they're shrinking as they take damage indicates that they are being beaten.
Bori hits once, stepping on the first elemental, dealing 11 damage, shrinking it into insignificance.
Gronk hits the remianing elemental with Burning Hands, dealing 18 damage.
Harald hits the elemntal twice, dealing 18 damage.
The elemental hits Gronk, dealing 8 force damage twice, and another 8 to Harald.
Faefina uses Healing Word, healing Gronk for 15.
She then uses Spiritual Weapon to attack, dealing 9 damage.
Bori jumps over Harald, landing on the elemental. Punching downwards 3 times as he lands, he ends up smashing into it with his elbow and double kicking it into.
Faefina falls off of Bori as he does this, and lands in the water. She notes that it tastes salty.
The woman on the shore cries 'No!', and asks what he's done. Gronk professes innocence, and says he only peed a little bit. She attacks:
As woman starts collecting electrical surges, Gronk casts Burning Hands, hitting her for 12 damage.
Bori grapples her, knocking her to the ground.
Gronk is ready to Suggest she stop, and she manages to get out 'I need a blood sacrifice to fix this'
Bori asks her to bring the creature in the lake, so that the party can deal with it. Woman says she cannot as she's not an arch druid. Harald leaves to fetch 🍀Lola, but Faefina uses Command to Halt him. Gronk runs off to fetch Lola instead. Finding Neka, he tells her what has happened, and Neka blesses her and sends her off with Gronk.
On the way back, Gronk notices insects crawling out, and feels the bacteria in his stomach acting up. Lola continues whispering, and as they approach the lake Lola lets out a cry, and a massive elemental rises out of the lake and splashes down again.
Lola says that she has saved the lake for a year, but sacrifices will be required next year, particularly Gronk. Gronk agrees to collect his blood in a jar for it.
On the way back to the ship, the party comes across Mrs. Bobbit. Seeing Lola, she says that a first testing of an archdruid is never easy, but she'll guide her and accompany her to the 🌳Druid Enclave.
